VideoTesT-Sperm 1.2 software is designed for determination of motility and concentration of spermatozoa in an undiluted ejaculate, and for a sperm morphology analysis. The motility parameters are determined according to recommendations given by the WHO. This software is a basis of VideoTesT-Sperm 1.2 image analysis system for medicine and biology.

VideoTesT-Sperm features and functions

• Image acquisition with a CCD system, recording video-sequences at 50 fps
• Opening of AVI, BMP, TIF, JPG files
• Automatic spermatozoa motility analysis, measurement of the rectilinear velocity, track straightness and other parameters recommended by the WHO (VCL, VAP, ALH, BCF, STR)
• Automatic estimation of spermatozoa concentration (total and by mobility classes)
• Displaying of the spermatozoa tracks
• Spermatozoa morphology analysis (head length, width, area, shape, elongation, etc.)
• Measurement of spermatozoa tails and other linear or angular parameters;
• Accumulation of the data gathered from unlimited number of images
• Statistical data processing
• Data export to MS Excel for additional statistical treatment
• Saving images to AVI, BMP, GIF, TIF, PCX, JPG files
• Export of the images and data to VideoTesT-Album 3.0 Image Database (included)
• Printing of images and results of the analysis, generating of standard reports.
