VideoTesT-Structure software is designed for morphological and densimetric analysis of images of materials. It includes several methods of solving problems related to counting and measurement of objects. Additional methods of automatic analysis can be created by the user of the software.

VideoTesT-Structure features and functions

• b/w or color image acquisition with a TV/digital camera or scanner. The images can be opened from files in BMP, .PCX, .GIF, .TIF formats, pasted from clipboard, loaded from the image database
• image enhancement and annotation
• acquiring images of powders, thin and polished sections, their enhancement and editing
• ability to obtain a resultant sharp image from a series of images acquired with various depth of focus
• manual and automatic thresholding of objects of interest (grains, pores, phases, inclusions, etc.)
• measurements of objects (size, shape, position, brightness, density, etc.)
• classification of objects and statistical treatment of the analysis results
• three pre-installed methods (macros): Count and Size, Grain Sizing, Phase Analysis
• additional methods can be included
• ability to copy and modify the methods
• ability to create new methods to automatize the routine operations
• VideoTesT-Album 3.0 image database included.
