If your sample is too bright for a camera to photograph or contains dark areas that cannot be adequately illuminated or, worse still where both conditions exist, then until now there was very little that could be done about it. Quantage is the latest innovation from the famous Syncroscopy development team that helps to solve these problems - and it is so simple!

Quantage works by capturing a series of images taken at different exposure times from a remotely controlled camera. The content of each image is assessed and those areas in each image that are neither under nor over exposed are combined into a Quantage image.

The result is a color Quantage image with extended dynamic range that encompasses all the brightness ranges that exist in the image of your sample. This image can then be viewed, stored, analyzed or rescaled to produce an image that can be printed.
