Slide Scanning

Digital Imaging Systems can provide slide scanning systems that can acquire a high resolution image of a whole slide or multiple slides. There are dedicated slide scanners available for single slide or high through put multiple slide scanning. We can also retro fit existing microscopes to upgrade them to slide scanners.

Retro fitting your existing microscope

Digital Imaging Systems can mount a scanning stage on to most microscope make and models. The scanning stages have a variety of stage holders for 1 to 8 slides. This would be controlled by software designed to scan the whole slide at high speed.
